In class we watched how the environment of Bhutan seemed to greatly effect the symptoms of Michael J. Fox's Parkinson Disease. He was able to take less medication, walk miles at a time, sit cross legged, and stand for hours. All of which he has trouble doing on a normal day back home. The environment of Bhutan is drastically different than that of the US. Bhutanese place a high value on happiness and pursuing a joyful outlook on life.
